Her focus is on the federal refugee resettlement program because it is an excellent example of the tension in the relationship between the federal and state governments and has significant policy implications across fiscal, health and welfare domains at the state and local levels. Due to the length of her program and her need to return to Nashville Tuesday evening she will begin speaking at 6:30 in an effort to end the program at 8 pm.
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month, at the Gondolier Restaurant in South Knoxville at 7644 Mountain Grove Drive, in the Lowe’s plaza off of Chapman Highway. A pre-meeting social hour is from 6 PM to 7 pm during which you may wish to eat dinner. The meeting will begin at 7 PM and end at 8 PM. Participation by those in attendance is always encouraged.
